1.  Prime Minister Tillman Thomas

The Right Honourable Tillman Thomas was the Prime Minister of Grenada from 2008 to 2013, and the leader of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

2.   Prime Minister Keith Mitchell

Dr. The Right Honourable Keith Mitchell is the present Prime Minister of Grenada. He also previously served as Prime Minister from 1995 to 2008. He is the leader of the New National Party (NNP).


3.  Prime Minister George Brizan 

The Honourable George Brizan was the Prime Minister of Grenada for four months in 1995. He moved to that position upon the resignation of Nicholas Brathwaite, and remained in office until Keith Mitchell was inaugurated on June 22.


4. Prime Minister Nicholas Brathwaite

The Right Honourable Nicholas Brathwaite was the prime minister of Grenada from 1983 to 1984 and from 1990 to 1995. He was a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).


5. Prime Minister Ben Jones 

The Honourable Ben Jones became the prime minister of Grenada in December 1989, after the death of Herbert Blaize. He served until March 1990, when his party lost elections.


6. Prime Minister Herbet Blaize

The Right Honourable Herbert Blaize served as Prime Minister of Grenada from 1984 until his death in 1989.

7. Prime Minister Maurice Bishop

Mr. Maurice Bishop seized power in a coup in 1979 from Eric Gairy and served as Prime Minister of the People's Revolutionary Government of Grenada until 1983, when he was overthrown in another coup by Bernard Coard, a member of his own government, and executed.

8. Prime Minister Eric Matthew Gairy

The Right Honourable Sir Eric Gairy was the first Prime Minister of Grenada, serving from Grenada`s independence in 1974 until his overthrow in a coup by Maurice Bishop in 1979.
